Have you ever desired something so much that you’ll do whatever it takes to get it? Well, my ‘something’ is not tangible, so, it’s not that easy to get.
Adventure. That’s what I long for.
It’s not easy ’cause you need lots of money to travel. I know, I know. There are cheap ways to travel, like ‘working’ abroad (WWOOF and Au Pair). But, I know I’m not the type of person who’ll go for that now. It is a great idea, I may try it in the near future.
This is why I also created this blog. To somehow share or see other people’s adventures through mail. But, I do know another way on how you could have your own adventures and see other places for free or at least cheap. It’s…

My latest hoard of vintage books. And there’s a 90 year old book hiding in there!
You can explore all sorts of worlds, meet different kinds of people and definitely have an adventure of a lifetime through reading. It’s a great way to enhance your vocabulary as well. I have to admit though as to why I bought loads of vintage books. I was planning to use some of them for my mail art. Blasphemous, I know!
This is the maximum damage I could probably do to a book. It breaks my heart that I did this to a 60 year old book.
Lesson learned! Take care of your books, old or new. So, your future kids or grandchildren can have their adventures with them too!
